Ramsgate to London On Foot

"In 1876, Van Gogh didn’t have any money to pay for the train from Ramsgate to London, so he decided to walk instead. Would you take on such a long distance by foot? The 120-kilometre trip took him two days. Luckily, he got a ride on a farmer’s cart for some of the way. At night, he rested for a few hours under a large beech tree."
