बारा ज्यूरी मेम्बरान...12 Hangry Men

60 years ago, on April 13 1957, a great film,  '12 Angry Men', directed by Sidney Lumet was released.

भारतात शेवटची ज्यूरी-ट्रायल १९५९साली झाली : नानावटी मर्डर केस. त्यावर आधारित आणखी एक सिनेमा २०१६साली काढण्यात आला. श्री. अक्षय कुमार यांना त्यातील त्यांच्या भूमिकेसाठी नुकताच राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार मिळाला. मी तो सिनेमा बघितला नाहीय व बघणार पण नाहीय. 'ये रास्ते है प्यार के', १९६३ हा सिनेमा मात्र मला बऱ्यापैकी आवडला होता. कै रवींचे संगीत आणि कै  लीला नायडूंच दिसण ह्या त्यातला सगळ्यात मोठ्या जमेच्या  गोष्ट होत्या / आहेत.

American crime story, a TV series that premiered in 2016, shows, among other things, the problems, to put it mildly, with a jury trial.  It's tragicomic to watch the way system comes apart as the days go by.

12 Angry Men is a trial film that tells the story of a jury made up of 12 men as they deliberate the guilt or acquittal of a defendant on the basis of reasonable doubt.
