Even Mumbai lives?
I personally prefer Indian summer to winter.
Winter creates many problems. One of them is aptly brought up by Calvin below. I know exactly what Calvin means.
Staying on the subject of boogers. Khushwant Singh wrote a delightful essay on the subject of boogers. I particularly remember his “bastard booger”.
It’s a booger you can offload on to your finger but can’t get rid of it from thereon. I am very familiar with that too!

ReplyDeleteWhen Mumbai was undergoing its coolest wave, I was also expeieincing worst season here in Detroit. Once I had to bring my grandson from his school-bus reaching near the coner of the lane, we stay. When I arrived at the usual spot, snow fall with high winds started vigourously. I started remembering Swami Vivekanand, when he had to spend one full night in a wooden box on the orads of windy Chicago. As soon as the bus arrived and Eashan stepped out, my fight with the snow-storm was nearing to end.So, I have my sympathies with you all.Any comments?
