Vijay Padalkar- scholar of Chekov's work and author of much acclaimed Marathi book 'kavadase pakadanaara kalaavant' - tells me: ' Robert Frost wrote in one of his poems;
"We may choose something like a star/To stay our minds on and be staid"
I have chosen Chekov.'
